According to a post by Lori Anne Wardi on coauctions.co, .CO Internet S.A.S. administered a total of 2500 auctions for names that were applied for during the Landrush phase of .CO registration. While most of the auctions were completed successfully, 156 were closed, either because high bidders failed to pay, or forgot to log in to activate their accounts.
The remaining 156 domains are going to be made available to the public sometime in early 2011 (the closest estimate we have is early Q1 or Q2). Like the original Landrush auctions, the auctions will be run by Pool. They’re open to everyone, even if you didn’t apply for these names during Landrush.
No other information is available at this time. I haven’t seen a list of names, but when I do, I will post the information here. There will undoubtedly be interest in these domains from .CO investors around the world.
